BA (Hons) Fashion

The fashion industry is a vibrant, exciting field with a variety of career pathways to suit every individual.

The BA (Hons) Fashion course at Hull School of Art is a 360° examination of all aspects of fashion; from the making up of clothes, to research and development skills, to creating your own collection and establishing your own fashion label.

The course will give you a true insight into fashion; learning about the construction of garments – both theoretical and practical knowledge such as pattern cutting, tailoring, and millinery. You’ll build a CAD and drawn portfolio and work in our studio with your own space for the duration of the course.

With award-winning work from the course included in touring exhibitions locally and nationally, the course promotes you in the world of fashion for after graduation, with a full range of associated skills including branding and meeting clients.

Our graduates have gone on to work with top brands including Ted Baker, Marks and Spencer, Next, and many more.
