Students can rent privately owned housing in the area from £60 per week. Outside of campus and always popular with students are the leafy bohemian areas of the city; Newland Avenue, Princes Avenue and Beverley Road, where students can choose from a wide variety of modern and traditional bars, cafes and independent shopping. Social activities are also organised regularly by the Student Union.

There are several halls of residence based in the beautiful old town area of Hull. This area is also home to the museums and cultural quarter.

Student Accommodation

Burnett Court is a stunning building containing several shared apartments situated in the centre of Hull’s Old Town.

Refurbished to a high standard and each boasting its own individual style, the spacious apartments are fully furnished and offer modern student accommodation in an excellent location, within only a few minutes walking distance of Hull School of Art & Design.

Apartments – Burnett Court has a total of nine apartments of varying sizes from two to five bedrooms, allowing groups of friends to live together within their own self-contained apartment.

Rooms – All furnished to the highest standard, the range in cost for a room is from £75 to £85 per week. Some apartments offer en-suites and all have at least one shared bathroom.

All bedding is provided with each room and students are also each supplied with a wardrobe, desk and chair, bedside cabinets, chest of drawers and most rooms have bookcases.


Should you take a room at Burnett Court and refer a friend who subsequently also takes a room, you could earn a £25 referral fee. The more friends you refer, the more you can earn!

Overseas students

Naver Property Management work with a number of overseas students and are able to ensure that all your requirements are catered for prior to your arrival at Burnett Court. Living in Burnett Court allows you to quickly integrate with other students.

Burnett Court Rents

Rent is calculated per room and can be paid on a weekly, monthly or quarterly basis if more convenient for student finance payments.  We can tailor packages to suit your budget so please contact us to discuss your requirements.
